Is Arenas is one of his creations and, if you’ve played his courses before, you’ll know you’re in for a treat. Carved from natural dunes, a mature evergreen forest and four lakes, Is Arenas is a stunner and challenging enough for the keenest of golfers. 12 holes are in the forest and six are within the dunes and almost links-like. As usual with von Hagge, there’s a mix of generous fairways with a tough array of hazards and narrower fairways with large greens…Every hole has a challenge and you’ll need to hit at least one good shot on each hole. Tough but fair. There’s also a large driving range and a 3-hole executive course. Wonderful and easily rated among the most beautiful courses in Europe
