Ranked No. 16 and No.30 respectively for golf courses in California. Clive Clark designed the Celebrity course and is a stunner with welcoming fairways leading to tighter approaches on the front nine and then some clever dog-legs and tighter holes on back nine. There’s water but not too much and plenty of trees. Designed to test but not punish, this is a good golf course.
Set on very much the same lines as the Celebrity course, the Players is the newer of the two and slightly longer and wider. It’s another great example of modern course design that isn’t too tricked up to be “proper golf”.
