This highly-rated four-star hotel sits between a beautiful three-mile-long beach and the 36-holes of Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club.
Choose half-board or All-Inclusive. All-inclusive food and drinks could make this holiday a very easy “golf and relax” holiday but we’d also recommend visiting the historical seaside town of Chiclana de la Frontera which is just 15 minutes away. Cadiz – arguably the world’s oldest port at 3000+ years old – is 40 minutes’ drive and boasts countless attractions including the cathedral, market and network of watchtowers.
Golf
The area has six golf courses well worth playing – the on-site 36 holes of Novo Sancti Petri, Montecastillo, Sherry Golf, Costa Ballena and Campano. Seve Ballesteros designed both courses at Novo Sancti Petri – the Sea & Pines is set slightly inland with the front nine slightly tighter and with water, and the back nine drier and wider. About 7000 yards off the back tees, it’s a pleasant layout with the right amount of challenge and fun for holiday golf. The Centre golf course is slightly shorter, more undulating and more technical. There are more seaside views which helps make the Centre course my favourite of the two but both are enjoyable and nicely maintained.
