Hardelot Les Pins

A Tom Simpson classic, Hardelot Les Pins was laid out over 80 years ago and meanders through towering pines. The bunkers feature heavy sand and several are waste bunkers so it’s important to be clever off the tee and stay true to the lush fairways. Once you’re in the trees or in the big bunkers, you need to swallow your pride and not try to be too ambitious.
Rushing up the European Top 100 in recent years thanks to a sympathetic “retro-design” leaning heavily towards Tom Simpson’s original 1931 layout, Hardelot Les Pins now sits at No.24 on the prestigious list.
“Les Pins’ rising ranking is proof of the value of a thorough and astute renovation,” commented Chris Bertram, editor of Golf World’s Top 100 Golf Courses of Continental Europe.”
Hardelot is a great-value, top-quality destination. With Hotel du Parc and Le Regina just a one-minute drive from both courses, the lovely beach resort a two-minute drive and the attractions of Le Touquet and Boulogne sur Mer 15 minutes away, it’s easy to see why Hardelot has always been a favourite short-break destination
