A heathland with a strong links influence, Parkstone is a visual treat designed by Willie Park Jnr in 1909 and revised by James Braid in 1932. With pine, heather and huge blossoming bushes, Parkstone can be quite tight so play sensibly and realise that, at 6300 yards off the back tees, it’s a course for brains and not brawn.
