Dunstable Downs PARKLAND

Laid out nearly 100 years ago by James Braid, Dunstable Downs was one of the longest courses in the land at nearly 6600 yards. These days it’s shorter at 6273 yards with a tough par of 70. Featured on television with “A round with Alliss” the course sits on the Chiltern Hills with huge views. There’s the “full Monty” of Braid demands on your game with tricky greens and plenty of bunkers. The course takes a couple of holes to “warm up” and then gets really interesting around the turn and has a terrific finish. Excellent value and with a warm welcome.
