Comporta Torre, also located in the Comporta region, opens in June 2025 and, from my preview game there in March 2025, is as good as its neighbour, Duna.
Torre is designed to complement the existing Dunas course, offering a slightly different challenge with its layout and emphasis on precision rather than power. It features wide fairways and well-placed hazards, encouraging the thinking golfer. Given that Torre was designed by Sergio Garcia, it’s likely that great iron play will be rewarded.
Torre, Dunas, Troia and the soon-to-open Pinheirinho has made this wonderfully rustic region a true mecca for discerning lovers of links golf.
