The leader in All Inclusive Golf Holidays, Belek on the south coast of Turkey is now renowned for its superb choice of golf courses and impressive resort hotels.
Known as the Turkish Riviera, Belek is 30 minutes east of Antalya Airport which is well-served by UK airports throughout the year. Six of the 15 golf courses are rated among Europe’s Top 100 and the other 9 are worth playing too! The hotels seem to get better year after year and each vies for having the most complete and generous All Inclusive. It’s heaven for golfing groups and for those of us who want to sit back, relax and not worry about the check-out bill!
Weather-wise, Belek is pretty much ideal from September through to June. December and January can be damp but a whole let better than at home and the deals to be had in “winter” are fantastic – in fact, depending on how much you play, eat and drink, it may well be cheaper than staying at home! Summer is hot but a few of the courses are fully flood lit so you can enjoy you game in the cool of the evening if you prefer to be on the beach during the heat of the day.
Hotel-wise, my favourites are the Gloria hotels (Serenity and Golf), Sueno (Deluxe and Golf) and Kempinski. The Regnum Carya is also superb but relatively pricey. Several of the hotels have their own golf course(s) and give me very enticing packages for “play and stay” holidays. Whichever hotel you choose, you’ll have the beach on one side, golf on the other and the All Inclusive in between!
