Set 50 minutes from Pelican Hill and 35 minutes from Los Angeles (the drive back from Los Angeles to Pelican Hill takes 45 minutes), a game at Trump National Los Angeles makes for a great start for a full and memorable day.
Rated in the Top 100 Public Golf Courses in the USA, Trump National was one of the most expensive golf courses ever built and was designed by Pete Dye to be spectacular. A relatively mundane and generous first stretch of holes leads to an excellent run of holes around the turn and then onto a superb back nine right by the ocean.
