Course overview
The par 72 course meanders around four inter-connected open water lagoons. About 25,000 large swimming pools worth of sand (five million m3) was moved and shaped to make this course rise from the salt flats.
Managed by Troon, the first tee is a step away from the glorious Waldorf Astoria and the verdant fairways are shaped to perfection – teasing a soft drawer or fade to set up the ideal approach shot. Al Hamra is a superior resort golf course, tying in very nicely with a relaxing and luxurious stay at the adjacent Waldorf Astoria.
