Course overview
Located in the upscale Emirates Hills and with its own boutique hotel, The Address Montgomerie Dubai is a par-72, 7,396-yard course designed by, you guessed it, Colin Montgomerie!
Now surrounded by an upmarket residential estate, the course has lost some of its charm but doesn’t feel claustrophobic as the fairways are super-wide.
The layout combines traditional links-style elements with fairway hillocks plus water features and huge (put shallow) bunkers.
Final Take
Next to his course in Belek, Turkey I think this is Colin Montgomerie’s second best design and a play&stay holiday at this resort is a charming and relaxing way to enjoy the most 21st-century of destinations that is Dubai.
