There are two courses as this US Open-qualifying club. Bayonet is probably the most difficult course to play in benign conditions although the recent redesign has made the course a little less daunting. Tree-lined and with plenty of bunkers, the greens are subtle.
Black House was also recently renovated and features some of the best views and holes on this blessed peninsula of world-class golf.
Top value and excellent, Bayonet – along with TPC Harding Park and Pasatiempo – provides four excellent rounds of golf for about the same price of one round at Pebble Beach! Having been lucky enough to play them all, I’d take the four rounds over the one and maybe treat myself to lunch overlooking the 18th at Pebble Beach Links.
