This understated and underplayed links is a gem for lovers of classic seaside golf. As well as the adjacent Atlantic, there’s water on the course too. The greens are small but the fairways are wide but, as with most good links, it’s how you run the ball that’s more important than how far or how high you hit it. Easy walking and surrounded by nature reserves, Kerver is well worth a round.
