A very welcome return to Domangere Golf Club which used to be one of our favourites in the Brittany and Loire-Atlantique regions. Now under new management, the course has reopened and is just as pretty as ever. Featuring the longest hole in France and plenty of bunkers and modern design techniques, Domangere is no pushover. The greens are large and water features on nine holes but the fairways are quite generous.
Domangere is a course where distance is important but play it off the yellows and the course changes its spots and you can relax a little and enjoy the lovely shaping of the course and the countryside setting.
Just over half an hour inland from Sables d’Olonne and an hour from Saint Jean de Monts, Domangere golf club is well worth the drive as the design is the second best in the area (with Saint Jean de Monts being No.1).
