Chantilly consists of two beautiful golf courses. The Vineuil course is a World Top 100 golf course and the official home of the Federation Francaise de Golf. This superb parkland was designed by Tom Simpson and has hosted several French Opens. The bunkers are large but shallow and the greens large but subtle. The fairways are generous but the rough is penal and the contours of the course require very clever strategy. It’s a timeless design and is wonderfully framed by the forest. Easy walking until the 16th when three very challenging holes can break your score or put a smile on your face.
