A very tight course close to Macon and first laid out in 1955, La Commanderie became an 18-holer in 2009 and is one of three nice courses surrounding the historic town and fabulous vineyards.
An unfussy design, easy-walking and with a warm welcome and delicious food, so why don’t you do as we do? Nine holes in the morning, a good lunch washed down by the local vintages, and then back out for the second nine. Perfect holiday golf!
