A privately-owned chateau about 20 minutes south of Epernay, Chateau d’Etoges oozes charm and comfort at every opportunity with excellent service, beautiful lounges and an elegant parkland. The 28 bedrooms are perfectly presented and you can take your pick from the main chateau, wine or annexe. There’s a bar and fine-dining restaurant where I had my best meal of 2020 in August. With two Champagne producers within a short walk, Chateau d’Etoges is a perfect place to wind-down.
