Formerly known as Baux de Provence which was regarded by many as the prettiest nine hole course in the world, Manville is the high-end and ambitious metamorphosis into a good quality 18 hole course of just over 6000 yards with eco-responsibility high on its agenda. The design is geometric so quirky but it’s fun and the average hotel resident at Domaine de Manville would be too busy earning or looking after their money to become a good golfer, so the course fits well. The scenery and setting is superb and Manville epitomises the best of Provence.
