Course overview

A modern and pleasant golf test 15 minutes from the ancient papal city of Avignon.  Le Grand Avignon measures 6410 yards from the back with a par of 72 and Slope Rating of 141, so it’s no slouch.  Very flat and with plenty of water hazards, it’s an American-style target course with very Provencale touches of lavender, cypress trees and olive orchards.  One to include if staying in and around Avignon, as it gives you a nice game in the morning and plenty of time to experience Provence in the afternoon.
