Course overview

Designed by Seve Ballesteros, this course is an exciting as one of his great rounds. Yu’ll need to be a bit of an escape artist too as there are plenty of holes which can trick and trap you. We think it’s Seve’s best course and it’s deservedly rated among the top 10 per cent of courses in France. Maintenance and presentation are excellent so there are no excuses. While there are plenty of challenges, there are also several holes where you can get a good score and repair the damage.

Hilly in parts but soft underfoot, Pont Royal provides first-class golf in beautiful surroundings. For the keenest of golfers, the David Leadbetter Academy facilities feature six practice holes, three wedge greens and a short game zone of no less than 1.5 hectares. Hard practice in the morning, a tasty lunch on the terrace followed by game at Pont Royal – now that’s a great day’s golf!
