Very near Cascais and ranked among the top golf courses in Europe, Oitavos Dunes is a first-class links course designed by Arthur Hills, set along Portugal’s stunning Atlantic coastline in Cascais.
The course is part of Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, offering breathtaking ocean views and a challenging layout influenced by natural sand dunes and coastal winds. The signature hole is the par-3 14th, where players must carry their tee shot over a deep ravine while not losing their concentration over the scenery.. The fast, undulating greens and links-style fairways make Oitavos a true test of golf, rewarding accuracy and strategy. It’s a great blend of difficult and relatively kind holes. The splendid clubhouse adds to the style. The on-site hotel is currently being rebuilt and will re-open in 2027.
