Traditional but wonderfully so, The Lodge at Torrey Pines is a very elegant way of enjoying the 36 holes and the seaside city of San Diego.
Bedrooms start at 50m2 with granite and marble bathrooms and views over the nature reserve, courtyard or golf course. There’s a grill and also a fine-dining restaurant, both prioritising local produce.
The design and architecture of the resort promotes a club-like atmosphere and I can recommend The Lodge even as a long-stay venue. Of course, the two golf courses add to the attraction!
